Role Overview
Manages DHS staffing contracts, including establishing budgets and rates
Collaborate with DHS Fiscal on the review of bill rate calculations and contract agency invoices.
Manages contract employee recruitment and employment processes.
Collaborates with directors and hiring managers to identify staffing priorities.
Coordinates with hiring managers and staffing agencies on the preparation of job descriptions and selection processes.
Oversees process to promote contract opportunities via job boards, job fairs, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.
Determines starting salaries for new hires, promotions, etc.
Ensures all of our agency partners have the required clearances and other documents on file at all times.
Serves as a liaison between hiring managers and contract agencies on issues pertaining to leaves, disciplines, performance reviews, etc.
Review, analyze, and develop necessary operational policies and procedures according to state, federal, and county mandates and regulations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred
2 or more years of experience in a supervisory role.
Demonstrated experience managing contract and vendor relationships.
Experience in HR talent acquisition practices, preferred.
Highly organized and knowledgeable on recruitment strategies
Experience utilizing multiple technology platforms including but not limited to: HRIS Systems, MS Office Suite (Adobe, Excel, etc.), and social platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.).
