Assist the Compliance Office in administering Merit’s Global Compliance Policy
Act as a liaison with Merit employees engaging with healthcare professionals (“HCPs”) to ensure compliance
Participate in and provide compliance support for projects and initiatives to identify, assess and mitigate compliance risk
Identify, document and report findings and issues to the Chief Compliance Officer or Regional Compliance Manager
Manage ongoing screening of contractors with knowledge of onboarding and due diligence best practices
Manage tracking, data aggregation, and reporting of transfers of value to health care providers to ensure compliance with Sunshine laws and regulations
Enhance and maintain online distributor training on anti-corruption laws and practices
Maintain the ethical and professional standards of the compliance profession
Requirements
Education equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree and two years of related experience, such as in the legal or regulatory fields.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to interact professionally and diplomatically.
Strong technical aptitude and business systems management experience.
Self-motivated independent worker Perform to a high level of accuracy in all tasks, attention to details.
Highly adaptable, flexible and willing to accept new ideas, processes, and procedures.
Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
Detail oriented and organized.
