Design engineering of water and wastewater treatment plants, reservoirs, pump stations and conveyance pipelines
Review of design requirements, site investigations, calculations, and modelling
Oversight of drafting and the preparation of reports and specifications
Building strong client relationships and providing solutions to clients both off and on site
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
A minimum of 8 years’ experience in water and wastewater treatment and conveyance (pipeline) design
Experience in managing packages on small to medium engineering design projects
Provision of specialist knowledge, technical review and advice and technical leadership in your area of expertise
Knowledge of safety in design, constructability and operational practices and relevant Australian standards and WSAA codes
Knowledge of risk management with the ability to identify project and design related risks
A commitment to working safely, and within the company’s HSEQ systems
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate across a multidisciplinary team
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills to interact with clients and a broad range of audiences
Coaching and mentoring team members
Ability to travel on occasions as the work requires
