Role Overview
- Act as a liaison between the Health Plan and its customers regarding pharmaceutical benefits
- Perform medical necessity reviews for formulary exceptions and prior authorizations
- Conduct extensive literature review and develop clinical criteria for pharmaceuticals
- Collaborate with clinical enterprise for cost-effective drug selection policies
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (Required)
- Licensed Pharmacist in Pennsylvania within 90 days
- Certification: Licensed Pharmacist
