Host regular meetings with the cross-functional teams to set priorities, status action items, and provide real-time updates to the customer.
Prepare and deliver the monthly status CDRL to the DLA Contracting Officer.
Serve as an overall process flow expert and will be responsible for cost account managing.
Maintaining and managing all metrics and supply chain management support associated with the program, overseeing the assessment of engineering drawings, tooling requirements for production, obsolescence health, material tracking, ensuring a timely program set up, and managing all team members in the execution of the program.
Works directly with Production and Engineering to ensure focus is given to the highest priority part numbers.
Analyze DLA demand history and monitor DLA's inventory posture to develop the monthly replenishment forecast and notify DLA of any support gaps in its asset position.
Compile data required for monthly reports and ensuring documentation accuracy from the various reporting entities.
Requirements
A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
Experience with SAP and Microsoft Excel.
DLA and/or Material Support experience.
Direct experience with Statements of Work (SOW).
Direct experience using the SOW for development of the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
Direct experience with Bid Master Web (BMW) as the Bid provider.
Experience with customer negotiations.
Direct Experience with presenting information to customers (metrics / action log).
Previous experience with Power & Controls tools and reports.
Leading and/or working with a cross-functional team / project management experience.
APICS certification would be very good, otherwise inventory forecasting experience (piece parts).
