About this role

Overseeing and managing projects from conceptual design through construction completion
Coordinating and supervising all aspects of the structural design process
Managing the production of drawings, specifications, and calculations during a project’s design phase life cycle
Collaborating with the design and construction teams to assess structural requirements
Managing the completion of various construction administration tasks
Performing and/or reviewing calculations and analyses to ensure structural integrity
Collaborating with external stakeholders such as architects, contractors, and MEP designers
Leading initiatives to drive continuous improvement within the company

Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a Structural focus
Have Professional Engineer (PE) license
Twelve years of experience working in the building structural engineering field
In-depth knowledge of structural engineering principles, codes, and standards
Familiarity with structural design and analysis, materials, and construction techniques
Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in structural engineering and project management, such as computer-aided design (CAD) software
