Maintain governance documentation, membership rosters, and committee records
Onboard new Accelerator members and committee participants
Align governance processes with HL7 policies and Accelerator charters
Serve as the primary administrative liaison between assigned Accelerator(s) and the broader HL7 ecosystem
Facilitate communication between Accelerator leadership and HL7 staff across departments
Stay current on HL7 policies, processes, and organizational developments relevant to Accelerator operations
Lead cross-workstream project operations, including milestone tracking, deliverable management, risk identification and mitigation
Maintain public-facing Accelerator artifacts, including websites and Confluence spaces
Draft and distribute communications, newsletters, and meeting summaries to Accelerator communities
Act as the Accelerator’s primary liaison to HL7 Core Services on financial and contracting matters
Validate that financial reports produced by HL7 Core Services align with Accelerator project documentation
Conduct the Accelerator’s annual and periodic budget development processes
Monitor budget-to-actual performance on a monthly basis
Manage contractor and vendor engagement
Maintain financial transparency with Accelerator stakeholders
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in health informatics, public health, business administration, nonprofit management, or a related field
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in program or project management, preferably in a healthcare, health IT, standards development, or nonprofit environment
Demonstrated experience working with governance bodies, multi-stakeholder committees, or collaborative industry initiatives
Experience with financial administration, budget tracking, or contracting coordination is strongly preferred
Familiarity with HL7 FHIR, healthcare interoperability standards, or health data ecosystems is highly desirable; a willingness and ability to develop this knowledge quickly is required
Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple workstreams, deadlines, and stakeholder groups simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear meeting documentation, summaries, and stakeholder communications
Proficiency with collaboration and project management tools (e.g., Confluence, Jira, SharePoint, Smartsheet, or equivalent)
High degree of organizational rigor and attention to detail, particularly in financial and contractual matters
Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in a remote, distributed work environment
Strong interpersonal skills and a service-oriented approach to working with volunteer-driven, expert communities.
