Associate Project Management Analysts (APMAs) are an integral part of clinical trial delivery, liaising with study teams to improve patients’ lives by bringing new drugs to the market faster.
Work in the Logistics Team, supporting the project teams by providing support with intervention scheduling for rater training and remediation, device procurement and in partnership with the Project Leader (PL)/Clinical Lead and Global Call Center to ensure customer satisfaction related to assigned projects.
Demonstrate compliance with established processes and systems related to the job function.
Seek advice from colleagues and counterparts to enhance knowledge and understanding to improve unclear processes.
Utilize systems and reports to organize project assignments daily.
Establish daily activities as urgent, important, or routine to comply with established turnaround timelines outlined within project plans.
Collaborate with colleagues to define project assignments and appropriate coverage and handover in global working environment.
Manage escalations to alerts and determine appropriate follow up for Project Leader (PL) or other functions to act upon.
Coordinate Clinical Specialist and site rater schedules to align meetings for rater training and remediation calls.
Ensure device procurement and tracking is completed as requested.
Manage study inboxes to ensure communication is filed appropriately.
Support risk and issue management process for the department.
Ensure Department Manager has timely and accurate data on areas including trends, deficiencies, and quality to support better decision-making.
Contribute to relevant sections of Project Processes and Plans.
Support project resource allocation discussions within the department.
Prepare correspondence for project team, site and/or customer stakeholders.
Attend and participate in department meetings.
Prepare project status reports and presentation materials for department meetings.
Coordinate and support onboarding of new Key Project Team Members and system access.
Comply with corporate and department expectations.
Requirements
Associate’s degree or higher (no specific field required), bachelor’s degree a bonus.
Experience with Trial Master File will be highly valued.
Experience with Call Center will be highly valued.
Typically requires 2 years of prior relevant professional experience.
