About this role
Role Overview
Support Biogen's alliances with a focus on pre-Commercial assets from pre-clinical through Phase II
Contribute to alliance design and develop strategies for project execution of post-deal readiness activities
Propose and execute collaboration guiding principles and objectives; recommend changes to governance structure and develop joint ways of working
Act as a technical expert on alliance contracts, facilitating contract agreement execution and contributing to contract development and amendments
Drive alliance governance, ensuring alignment with internal and partner collaborators on agenda, preparation, and outcomes tracking
Build knowledge of partner capabilities and establish relationships with partner counterparts, representing the voice of the alliance
Develop alliance reporting and monitor alliance health
Implement tools and best practices for best-in-class alliance execution
Drive functional learnings within an alliance
Requirements
12+ years of experience in Life Sciences Alliance Management or related roles, such as Research, Development, or Commercial areas
An advanced degree may substitute for experience, as appropriate
Bachelor’s degree in a related field required
Knowledge of alliance contracts and the ability to translate them into actionable strategies
Experience in stakeholder management, both internally and with partners
Innovative thinking to develop solutions and anticipate business/alliance issues
Proven track record of leading projects and executing multiple workstreams in parallel
Strong ability to communicate complex ideas and persuade others
Experience with change management strategies
Strong written and verbal executive communication skills
