About this role
Role Overview
Contribute to the development of successful and compliant execution of the Scientific & Value Communications strategy, including the creation of cross-therapeutic area, Payer-focused Field Medical materials, digital content and MS-focused publications including abstracts, posters, manuscripts.
Serve as a key US Medical contact and collaborative partner for important cross-functional partners (US Medical Directors, US Field Medical, Global Medical, Clinical Development, Epidemiology, Pharmacovigilance, Commercial, Market Access).
Oversee the development/adaptation of medical materials consistent with DSMR/PRC requirements (e.g. presentations, training materials, medical briefs and talking points) for internal colleagues as well as proactive and reactive resources for use in engagements with external stakeholders.
Manage relationships with external authors and vendors in the preparation and review of MS publications for assigned projects, including the management of publication review, if applicable.
Requirements
MD, PhD, PharmD, DNP, or comparable advanced degree is required.
2+ years of Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry experience required, with prior work in a Medical Affairs &/or Medical Communications role.
Substitution of industry work with relevant clinical practice experience may be considered.
Clinical experience and subject matter expertise in one of the respective therapeutic areas is preferred, along with experience in Payer-focused Medical Communications and scientific publications.
Ability to effectively lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple projects and take initiative to solve complex and challenging problems.
Effective communicator in both written and oral mediums to include presentations.
