Role Overview
- Develop, prepare, and complete pricing analyses
- Participate in development and update of Actuarial models
- Apply mathematical and statistical techniques to analyze profitability
- Work closely with Product Managers to support new product introduction
- Collaborate on rate and rule revision process
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 actuarial exams completed
- 1 or more years of experience in primary insurance pricing
- Strong technical actuarial skills
- Strong knowledge and understanding of rating models
- Ability to influence and negotiate with others
- Skilled in linking multiple data sources
- Experience with SQL and R or Python required
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel required
