Manage a portfolio of domestic and international clients primarily focused on corporate tax compliance, ensuring timely and accurate compliance with all relevant tax obligations.
Review compliance deliverables prepared by junior staff, ensuring quality and accuracy.
Act as a key point of contact for clients on compliance matters, including advising on the impact of tax law changes and responding to Revenue correspondence.
Conduct research on tax technical compliance and advisory matters, including the application of evolving tax developments.
Work closely with colleagues across departments to deliver coordinated and efficient client service.
Support the development of junior team members through mentoring, coaching, and on-the-job training; contribute to performance appraisals.
Contribute to the enhancement of compliance processes, including the use of tax technology and transformation initiatives.
Assist in managing working capital, including WIP, billing, and collections, in line with departmental targets.
The role has scope to expand with assisting in corporate tax consulting projects for both domestic and international clients.
Requirements
CTA; an accounting qualification is an advantage but not essential.
Minimum of 3-5 years’ post-qualification experience in a tax compliance role, ideally within a professional services environment, supporting clients with both a domestic and International presence.
Strong technical knowledge of relevant corporate tax legislation for Irish and International clients such as Group loss relief, Start-Up Reliefs, R&D Tax Credits, Knowledge Development Box, Capital Allowances for Intangible Assets, Foreign Tax Credit Relief etc.
Excellent communication, organisational, and project management skills.
Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality service.
A collaborative team player with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
Demonstrated interest in process improvement and tax technology is a plus.
