About this role
Role Overview
- Coordination of shipments within the import process;
- Documentation control;
- Negotiation with suppliers, carriers, and third parties;
- Monitoring of timelines and costs;
- Cost analysis and import reporting;
- Continuous process improvement;
- Liaison with internal departments;
- Risk management (delays, additional costs, customs issues, etc.);
- Qualification/onboarding of new suppliers;
- Provide support to other team members in the area.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with emphasis in International Trade, International Trade, International Relations, or related fields.
- Proven experience in import processes;
- English: Intermediate to Advanced proficiency;
- Knowledge of customs clearance processes, tariff classification, and import tax calculations (preferred);
- Experience with import ERP systems and relevant tools (preferred).
