Ensures the warranty department collaborates with service and parts managers to comply with manufacturer warranty policy and procedure.
Books warranty repair orders and submits claims of manufacturer warranty.
Maintains receivables schedules; processes service contract claims submissions and ensures appropriate follow-up.
Works closely and effectively with teams of technicians, service writers, and supervisors.
Coordinates with vendors and manufacturers to ensure prompt receipt and shipment of replacement parts.
Communicates with Service Advisors to define the scope of a warranty claim.
Processes all warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation and verification.
Reconciles all warranty receivables and works with the accounting department to obtain payments.
Stays abreast of all factory recall announcements and procedures.
Reviews every warranty repair order for proper completion, accuracy, and legibility.
Determines applicable labor operation code and enters them on orders.
Reviews rejected warranty claims and prepares repair orders for resubmission.
Maintains records of claims submitted, returned/rejected, and paid alongside their current status.

1-2-years of dealership, service, or parts warranty experience preferred.
General accounting knowledge highly preferred.
Ability to logically identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions to complex problems.
Excellent interpersonal communication abilities including giving full attention to others, asking appropriate questions, and resolving issues professionally.
Must maintain a valid state driver’s license to drive any customer or company vehicle.
Proficiency in using computers, Dealer software, Windows OS, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
Experience managing multiple small and large projects at any given period.
Working knowledge of administrative/clerical procedures and systems.
