Role Overview
- The Financial Assistant supports the delivery of high-quality financial accounting and reporting across the Group
- The role contributes to statutory reporting, consolidation processes, acquisition accounting, and ongoing improvements to financial controls
- Ensure accuracy and compliance in a fast-paced environment
- Requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a high performing Finance function
Requirements
- 3-5 years of relevant industry experience
- Previously worked in Group reporting & Technical accounting
- Part qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
- Ability to interpret and manage financial information across multiple companies and business units
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary
- High level of IT literacy, including strong Excel skills (including Power Query); experience with Planful is an advantage
- Knowledge of financial accounting, process, and systems
- Good working knowledge and experience of ERP’s
- Proactive, curious, and committed to improving processes and delivering high quality output
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast moving, dynamic environment
- Demonstrates personal pride, professionalism, and accountability
- Ability to meet established deadlines while maintaining high accuracy and quality Strong numerical accuracy, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills, ability to articulate complex information
- Experience with Planful is an advantage
