Conduct routine inventory audits and cycle counts to verify stock correctness and identify discrepancies, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Collaborate with warehouse staff and other departments to coordinate inventory planning, stock replenishment, and equipment allocation that meets operational demands.
Support the implementation and continuous improvement of inventory management systems and processes, contributing to enhanced accuracy and efficiency.
Generate regular reports detailing inventory status, variances, and equipment maintenance schedules to facilitate informed decision-making by management.
Assist in training and guiding team members on best practices related to inventory control and equipment handling in compliance with company policies and safety standards.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies relating to inventory and equipment management.
Requirements
A relevant educational background in logistics, supply chain management, administration, or a related field.
Preferably, previous experience in inventory control or warehouse operations within the logistics or contract logistics sector.
Strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to analyse data and identify trends or issues promptly.
Fluency in Portuguese is essential; knowledge of English will be considered an advantage.
