About this role
Role Overview
Reporting to the Director, Indirect Procurement, this individual is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, elevating business engagement, and delivering annual business objectives.
Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for Professional Services subcategories delivering value against productivity, service, quality, and innovation.
Lead and manage cross-functional sourcing projects from initiation through implementation, ensuring alignment with category strategies, timely delivery of objectives, and effective stakeholder engagement.
Drive annual productivity improvements in applicable spend categories.
Supplier selection, contracting and negotiation process.
Track performance within each applicable spend category across goals & business metrics.
Monitor strategy implementation and contract compliance.
Drive best practices across categories and business partners.
Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement category strategies.
Drive value through supplier relationship management.
Lead or co-lead business reviews with key providers.
Drive advancement of category based on broad knowledge of market trends.
Effectively influence, communicate, and lead at all levels within the company.
Requirements
5 to 10 years of strategic sourcing with experience in Indirect Sourcing Categories, including background across Professional Services landscape.
Bachelor’s degree in required
Must have a balance of both strategic and operational capacities, including global sourcing, stakeholder management, supplier management, and cross functional partnering.
Experience in advanced sourcing techniques and tools, and supplier management
Global mindset with experience working in an international/multi-cultural matrix environment.
Ability to develop and execute complex sourcing strategies.
Strong negotiating skills.
Comfortable with complex agreements and contracts
Demonstrated financial and general business acumen.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels; particularly at the management level.
Capable of building sustainable business partnerships with internal stakeholders and strategic suppliers.
Influencing without direct authority
Comfortable driving through conflict and ambiguity
Strong financial and total value capture understanding.
