Role Overview
- Own and develop strategic plans for highly complex categories
- Support long term business plans and execute prioritized strategic initiatives
- Analyze competition, customer behavior, industry trends, and macro environment
- Drive planning, budgeting, forecasting, and growth for categories
- Establish high-visibility supplier relationships
- Determine and support resource requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, or related field
- 5 years’ experience in merchandising management, buying, financial planning, operations, or related area, OR 7 years’ experience in the same areas
- 2 years’ supervisory experience
- Leading cross-functional teams
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Negotiating with third-party suppliers
