Recommend digital, IT, and AI-enabled solutions to enhance performance and cost-effectiveness
Support in implement capacity-building programs to upskill internal teams on emerging technologies
Client facing/client relationship/client management skills and effective written and verbal communication skills
Design delivery and team management along with End-to-end design experience for SCAI and IT/Security and ELV services
SCAI and IT/Security and ELV services as per relevant employer and international Standards such as TIA/EIA, BS, BICSI, TRA, SIRA, ADMCC, TDRA, Local Authority guidelines for Smart City & AI Systems and applications
Evaluate and advise on SCAI and IT/Security and ELV services related design changes and non-conformations to ensure fulfilment of the requirements
Performing all aspects of SCAI and IT/Security and ELV services engineering design as a lead engineer, including Conceptual Studies, Program Requirements, Design Analysis, Calculations, Equipment selection and layout, and System selection and layout for building design and site IT/Telecom/Security/ELV utilities
Support in developing Specifications, Design Reports, suitable Schedules, Calculations & schematics, and further detailing in line with design requirement
Sound experience of other MEP Systems along with BIM/Revit/ACC Overview, coordination, Navisworks design review & Design collaboration skills
Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
Requirements
8+ years of working experience as an IT/ICT/Security design expert in Smart Cities / Safe Cities Domain
Should have a proficiency and in-depth knowledge on technology components of Smart Cities
Sound design experience of integration between Smart City infrastructure such as Telecommunications, Smart City Platform, Fiber Optic Networks and the Smart City Innovation Centre (SCIC) for centralized data management and operations
Able to Identify the dependencies and integration points with wider smart city systems including but not limited Smart City Application Sub services: Smart Mobility & Traffic Management, IoT-based Utilities & Waste Management, Smart Public Realm & Wayfinding systems etc. Associated integrations with Digital Twin or ICCC
Evaluate smart building technologies for feasibility, scalability including but not limited to: IoT-based automation and sensor networks AI-driven operational intelligence Digital Twin technology Integration for real-time monitoring and optimization
Sound knowledge in defining the Smart Systems requirements to cover following but not limited to: Asset Twin & Performance Twin framework for data-driven decision making Data schema, naming conventions, and metadata standards. Cybersecurity measures and compliance requirements
Sound Knowledge of products for PIDS, IBMS Systems, Servers, Storages, Various CCTV Cameras, Intelligent Traffic Management System, ANPR, RLVD, SVD, Solid Waste Management, e-Governance, Smart Parking & Physical Security Systems etc.
Expertise in Wireless Network RF Planning Study for GSM, Wi-Fi, NB-IoT, LoRa, and TETRA networks, ensuring full coverage and connectivity
Expert in Design / propose performance metrics and measurement indicators to be used by the facility management to track the efficiency, user experience and system effectiveness of the smart building systems
Passive Networking infrastructure, Structured Cabling (FO, Copper) expertise with BISCI RCDD/ DCDC/ CTS or relevant chartership will be an added advantage
Along with above, design experience for building’s Telecom/IT/ELV & Security services is must for the role: Local Area Network (LAN) (ICT Network Switches, Routers, Wi-Fi, Topology, Firewall, Cyber Security, Video Conference etc.). Electronic Access Control System (general Access control, Gate Barriers, Turnstile, Visitor Management etc.).
