Role Overview
- Serve as the principal consultant for Snowflake best practices.
- Evaluate new Snowflake features and create adoption frameworks.
- Define AI-ready data patterns to accelerate AI solution delivery.
- Architect scalable, secure Snowflake environments.
- Design multi-account AWS integrations and data ingress/egress patterns.
- Establish performance engineering practices.
- Implement data governance by design.
- Lead enablement for Snowflake Cortex AI capabilities.
- Guide teams to build agents and RAG solutions using Amazon Bedrock Agents.
- Create reusable AI accelerators.
- Establish CI/CD for data and AI.
- Implement observability across platform and workloads.
- Mentor senior engineers and uplift teams through workshops.
Requirements
- 10–15 years of experience in data engineering/platform engineering
- 5+ years in Snowflake
- 2+ years experience in driving AI governance
- Deep understanding of Snowflake architecture
- Proven experience creating Snowflake best practices and design patterns
- Strong AWS expertise
- Demonstrated experience enabling teams on Snowflake Cortex AI
- Hands-on with Amazon Bedrock Agents
- Track record defining AI governance and usage guidelines
- Strong proficiency with SQL, Python, and IaC
- Expertise in CI/CD for data & AI workloads
- Excellent communication and technical leadership skills
