Role Overview
- Configure and maintain mainframe security policies in a Top Secret and RACF environment
- Create, update, and manage user IDs, passwords, and access rules
- Monitor system security, review security logs, and perform regular security audits
- Respond to security incidents and perform forensic analysis
- Work with application developers, other IT teams, and compliance officers
Requirements
- Proficiency with mainframe security software (RACF or Top Secret)
- Strong knowledge of z/OS, JCL, TSO/ISPF, and other mainframe tools
- Experience with security auditing, vulnerability assessments, and threat analysis
- Proficiency in scripting languages like REXX for automation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical risks
- Understanding of compliance standards and audit processes
