About this role
Role Overview
The OEM Key Account Manager is responsible for particular OEM accounts, and reports to the Sales Director of the OEM Division
Proactively develops business opportunities with existing and, especially, new key accounts
Operates in a global network to support local Key Account Managers and to establish excellent contacts with the key accounts
Sets prices and negotiates terms and conditions
Spends most of his time visiting customers, following up on current projects and searching for new opportunities
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in engineering, chemical engineering, or other related field
Technical knowledge of automotive applications required
Proven experience in initiating, managing and closing sales processes with OEM/Tier customers (technical specifications, PPAP, etc.)
Minimum of 5 years’ working experience in a similar sales and key account management position
Outstanding consultative selling abilities and interpersonal skills
Decision maker with negotiation skills, willing to work under pressure
Proficiency in use of MS-Office applications and CRM (Salesforce desired)
