Provide professional and regulatory support to the Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Mental Health Counseling.
Perform a wide range of duties related to board office services and other regulatory activities, ensuring compliance with applicable statutes, rules, and policies.
Interpret and apply relevant statutes, rules, and policies.
Process and review applications for licensure, renewals, and other regulatory actions.
Maintain accurate records.
Assist in the development of regulatory procedures.
Monitor compliance with continuing education and licensure requirements.
Manage electronic and physical files.
Handle and review sensitive information including transcripts and examination records.
Communicate with stakeholders.
Assist with the training of new staff members.
Requirements
Knowledge and ability to interpret Florida Statutes and administrative codes regarding licensing and regulation of professionals and facilities, and consumer protection.
Knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Office software.
Knowledge and proficiency in using Windows-based computers.
Ability to learn and utilize job-specific software such as LEIDS and AxiomPro and office equipment such as phones, fax machines, scanners, and copiers.
Ability to compile, organize, and analyze data.
Ability to provide consultative assistance to others.
Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work activities on a pre-approved work schedule.
Ability to communicate and deal with people effectively.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
