Operations Buyer, Turkish

Role Overview

• Handle, organize and coordinate procurement of materials, goods, services and supplies.
• Manage complex procurement processes within Turkey.
• Support procurement transactions ensuring the purchase order process completion.
• Assist more senior team members with process improvements.
• Check records and files for accuracy, performing complex analysis of data.
• Lead requests for procurement of non-contracted materials and goods, services and supplies.
• Assist end user and ensure material delivery follows plant requirements.
• Handle complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar area: purchasing, logistics, supply chain or customer service.
• Practice knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Power Point).
• Fluent Turkish language
• Fluent English language
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (logistic, supply chain) or equivalent experience preferred
• SAP Ariba practice knowledge
• Experience working in virtual, multi-cultural teams.
