Field Sales Representative

Role Overview

• Identify current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport
• Provide product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information
• Establish and service new accounts; planning and organizing sales calls
• Prepare cost estimates by studying basic blueprints and customer documents
• Consult and promote products with engineers, architects, and other professionals
• Analyze cost-benefit ratios of equipment and services in customer environments
• Submit orders by conferring with technical support staff

Requirements

• Basic troubleshooting skills and a general knowledge of basic hand tools
• Solid mechanical aptitude
• Experience in service-based selling
• Excellent sales skills
• Ability to gain and retain customers through customer support and communication
• Candidate should ideally live within the South Louisiana, South Mississippi and South Alabama territory
