Manage Sales Pipeline & Proposals: Manage a robust sales pipeline, prioritize opportunities, and develop creative sales plans to capitalize on multi-segment opportunities. Coordinate the proposal process for local contracts, addressing client needs and objectives.
Drive New Business Acquisition: Lead new business acquisition efforts, leveraging cross-functional teams to address prospect concerns, build trust, and shorten sales cycles. Collaborate with the sales team to expand business development efforts and secure key accounts.
Monitor Performance & Market Trends: Review sales objectives and results for target accounts, developing action plans for improvement. Gather information on emerging market and foodservice industry trends to enhance Sysco's competitive advantage.
Customer Onboarding & Relationship Management: Foster relationships with prospects and manage the onboarding process, transitioning new accounts to the sales force. Maintain accurate prospect data within Sysco's Salesforce platform.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in related discipline or an additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
5+ years of experience
Ability to express information in terms of profit and loss, food cost, and expense ratios.
Strong financial acumen and business planning skills.
Adaptability and openness to new ideas and change.
Strong interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and presentation skills.
