Developing and executing on comprehensive internal communications strategies that enhance Tech & Intact Lab employee engagement, promote organizational goals, foster a culture of innovation, and align with the organization’s strategy and values.
Effectively communicating the initiatives, milestones, and strategic goals of the Tech & Intact Lab business units to key internal and external audiences, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall objectives.
Planning and executing a series of engaging internal events, such as town halls, Tech Talks, and offsites, to celebrate achievements and highlight Tech & Intact Lab roadmap and priorities, demonstrating their alignment with IFC's objectives and ensuring employees and managers understand their roles in the organization's success.
Ensuring that Tech and Intact Lab, as well as IFC employees, are well-informed about the organizations' tech, digital, data and AI enhancements and the various tools available to support them in performing their roles effectively.
Curating compelling, insights-driven content related to tech, digital, data, and AI to enable the External Communications team to strategically share the IFC story with external audiences.
Advising and supporting Tech & Intact Lab management in their participation at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of internal communications efforts, providing regular feedback and recommendations for improvement to senior leadership.
Staying informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in communications to continuously enhance the effectiveness of internal communications strategies.
Providing executive communications support to the Chief Operating Officer and senior Tech & Intact Lab management, assisting them in their communication efforts and message management.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in communications/mass media/public relations, or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
Minimum 10 years relevant experience working in communications.
Minimum 5 years experience in people management.
Exceptional strategic thinking skills combined with an action orientation.
Stellar written and verbal communication skills.
Proven organizational and prioritization skills.
Ability to prioritize work and multitask in an environment with multiple deadlines and competing demands.
Ability to manage an extensive network of stakeholders.
Strong commitment to talent management and development.
