- Direct the Engineering team on projects or bids to achieve company objectives
- Ensure correct application of Engineering Processes to project standards
- Management responsibility for engineering strategy and direction
- Potential for direct line management responsibilities for staff
Requirements
- Extensive experience of systems engineering
- Ideally experience within the defence sector
- Worked in a multidisciplinary team as a team lead or member
- Strong analytical skills supporting logical, effective and timely decision-making
- Strong appreciation of Safety and Safety Assurance within the Engineering discipline and Domain
- Ideally previous managerial experience, particularly within defence focusing on submarines or sonar equipment
