About this role
Role Overview
Own the numbers seen by PE sponsors and the Board.
Lead consolidated reporting across a multi-entity business, shape board materials, and turn complexity into a clear financial story.
Drive financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis across the organization.
Partner closely with business leaders and executive stakeholders to deliver actionable insights.
Support strategic decision-making and enhance financial visibility.
Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles, build financial models, and develop reporting frameworks.
Manage and optimize reporting and planning processes within Adaptive Insights (or similar FP&A tools).
Develop and maintain KPI dashboards and performance metrics.
Support long-range planning, investment analysis, and strategic initiatives.
Evaluate business cases, cost structures, and ROI in partnership with cross-functional teams.
Perform ad hoc analysis to support executive and operational priorities.
Help automate processes and collaborate with senior leadership on AI tool implementation to enhance workflows.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA, CFA, or CPA a plus
7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial strategy
Strong financial modeling and forecasting experience, including scenario and sensitivity analysis
Advanced Excel skills with proficiency in financial planning tools (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, or similar)
Experience building executive-level reporting, dashboards, and presentations
Strong understanding of financial statements (P&L, cash flow) and key business drivers
Proven ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience partnering across all levels
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while contributing to team success.
Experience supporting SaaS, subscription-based, or revenue-driven business models
Experience in a private-equity-backed company, including board or sponsor reporting.
Experience in Netsuite or comparable
Experience supporting education, professional services, or B2B environments
Familiarity with KPI frameworks, financial dashboards, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Experience with long-range planning and strategic finance initiatives
Exposure to data modeling and financial systems implementations or enhancements.
