Supports senior bankers in their relationship responsibilities, including interacting with current and prospective clients
Maintains proprietary databases through monitoring news, current events, transactions and financial information for clients, prospects and other industry participants
Understands client needs and identifies Regions products and services, or other unique, actionable ideas that can help clients achieve their goals
Develops and maintains detailed financial models to value companies and depict projected financial results
Ensures high quality of client deliverables by having strong written communication skills and attention to detail
Prepares written material, including pitches, proposals, client materials and associated supporting analyses
Conducts extensive financial and industry due diligence to evaluate the risk/return parameters of a transaction
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with proven record of high achievement
Coursework in financial accounting and corporate finance
Past relevant experience preferred (i.e., summer internships or a minimum of one year of past experience)
Advanced user of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Capability to pass Series 79 and Series 63 license exams and requirements
Commitment and dedication towards excellence and achieving results
Energetic self-starter with willingness to work long hours, take on significant and multiple responsibilities
