Support transaction execution, financial modelling and due diligence engagement.
Support deal approvals including contributing to investment committee papers.
Support on pipeline building and management (interface with project developers, first screening of potential opportunities).
Develop and manage operational benchmarking tools.
Provide portfolio management support post transaction execution.
Support with the fund administrative requests (control of fund budget / payments).
Provide pipeline information and overall support to quarterly investors report.
Perform market research, industry analysis, and competitor benchmarking to identify trends and opportunities, focused but not limited to, carbon markets.
Conduct financial analysis and valuation of companies, assets, and investment opportunities using various methodologies (DCF, multiples, etc.).
Requirements
Strong proficiency in Excel, financial modelling, and valuation techniques.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Strong presentation and communication skills to articulate investment ideas.
Knowledge of alternative investments, fixed income, and portfolio management.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Experience in private equity, investment banking, venture capital or project finance (preferred).
Knowledge of project finance for carbon reduction initiatives (e.g. forestry, Agroforestry, ARR) (preferred).
Understanding of carbon markets, including compliance and voluntary markets (preferred).
