Provides executive support for the Dean for the School of Medicine
Manages daily office operations
Maintains calendar, responds to incoming requests
Researches and resolves operational concerns
Ensures appropriate preparation for meetings
Interacts with university leadership and serves as a liaison to key stakeholders and business partners
Plans and organizes special events, conferences and retreats
Researches and identifies venues and manages all planning including decisions related to event set-up, budget management, catering, technology, communication to attendees and preparation of materials
Composes, writes and edits communication materials
Prepares and monitors budgets
May supervise staff
Requirements
A bachelor's degree in business administration, communications or a related field
Five years of executive administrative support, program development, project management or related experience OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
