Develop and own the adviser events strategy, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives.
Plan and manage an annual schedule of events, including technical and regulatory webinars, best-practice sessions and face-to-face adviser roadshows.
Lead the end-to-end delivery of all events, from concept and content development to live delivery and post event follow up.
Act as the primary owner and subject matter expert for event platforms and suppliers including BrightTALK and Cvent.
Work closely with Distribution and Technical to shape relevant adviser-centric content, and with Compliance and Risk to ensure events meet regulatory and governance requirements.
Manage external suppliers, venues and production partners, ensuring high-quality delivery and value for money.
Own the events budget, forecasting costs and managing spend effectively.
Define and track success measures for events, using data and adviser feedback to continuously improve content, format and performance.
Provide clear reporting and insight to stakeholders on engagement, outcomes and learnings.
Requirements
Significant experience delivering events within financial services, ideally in platforms.
Proven experience delivering both webinars and face-to-face events at scale.
Proficient in Event technology with hands-on experience of using BrighTALK and Cvent preferred.
Experience using Salesforce and Marketing Cloud desirable.
Strong project management skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple events and priorities at the same time.
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
A collaborative, proactive and highly organised approach.
Good understanding of the UK financial adviser market and the requirements of a regulated environment.
Ability to work flexible hours to support events in line with business needs and able to travel to fulfil event requirements.
