Carries out vendor to vendor testing with client/vendor(s) or third-party vendor(s)
Consults with the client and /or vendor as needed to test, implement the reference lab interface
Maintains knowledge of status of all interfaces under installation, providing such information as requested
Reviews problems encountered during interface testing phases to determine if original specifications must be revised to accommodate requests by the client
Assists the client and provides technical support during integrated testing of foreign system interfaces and/or reference lab interfaces
Consults with programmers and product teams as needed to complete implementation and delivery of interfaces and accurately documents quality testing and support to the client
Complies with all approved procedures, directives and guidelines
Performs other duties as assigned
Successful interaction/communication with Labcorp external and internal clients
Client system maintenance as necessary
Troubleshooting issues related to Labcorp and clients LIS
Builds/Validates client test tables, files and or setups
Requirements
Associate's degree or higher
2 or more years of healthcare experience
2 or more years of experience with understanding HL7 interface requirements/specifications
2 or more years of experience in the usage, file building, and troubleshooting of laboratory information systems
2 or more years of experience in a service-related field clinical laboratory
Proven excellent customer service skills
Broad understanding of the clinical laboratory environment and operations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Designed, installed, validated, and maintained interfaces for a clinical laboratory or related setting
