Analyze test results, perform root cause analyses, and recommend corrective actions.
Collaborate across engineering disciplines, working closely with software developers, system architects, and test engineers to validate end-to-end functionality and mission effectiveness.
Lead integration of hardware, software, and mission systems in secure DoD environments, ensuring interoperability, performance, and mission assurance.
Apply modern DevSecOps practices—including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, containerized deployments, and infrastructure as code—to streamline integration and test activities.
Stand up, configure, and maintain secure test environments leveraging cloud-native and virtualized resources (e.g., AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or on-premise equivalents).
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree
Active Top Secret US Security clearance
3+ years of experience in software system integration and test
3+ years of experience with the DevSecOps
3+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer, leading systems engineering, integration and test activities
Practical experience with requirements decomposition, requirements tracing and configuration management
Experience writing test plans and procedures and executing system-level integration and verification
Familiar with standard engineering tools such as requirements management (DOORS or similar), MBSE (MSOSA/Cameo or similar), test management, and common collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, Git)
Proficient with one or more scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Matlab) for test automation and data analysis
Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines
Understanding of networking fundamentals
Experience with configuration management tools
Exposure to Linux and Windows
Real-time software development experience, but not require
Experience with mission systems, avionics, command & control architectures, embedded systems, sensor systems, or related defense/space programs.
