As a Sales Advisor – Proposals, you will be responsible for having an unwavering focus on risk and opportunity management throughout the project lifecycle
Identifying risks and opportunities, developing mitigation strategies, and engaging with key stakeholders
Leading tendering activities with support from Commercial Hubs and Functions, including contract negotiation and closure
Supporting the Proposal Coordinator in finalizing bid submission documentation and approvals
Ensuring adherence to the deal management approval tollgate process to obtain necessary business approvals
Delivering leadership, challenging others constructively, and maintaining relationships with customers
Influencing customer choices to position Baker Hughes for success while ensuring adherence to customer requirements.
Requirements
Have bachelor’s degree in engineering or scientific discipline from an accredited university or relevant industry experience within product line
Have proven expertise in sales strategy, tendering activities, and contract negotiation across complex oil & gas projects, preferably for the subsea projects.
Be skilled in leading opportunity pursuits, capture planning, and early engagement processes to secure high-value deals.
Have strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing, bid preparation, and ensuring adherence to win strategies and customer requirements.
Be adept at building and maintaining customer relationships, influencing decisions, and positioning the organization for success in competitive markets.
Have demonstrated ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams, drive risk and opportunity management, and ensure seamless project mobilization.
Be recognized for leadership, stakeholder engagement, and mentoring teams to deliver optimized solutions and executable projects.
