About this role
Role Overview
Maintain and update accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts payable/receivable.
Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial data.
Manage and process payroll, including taxes and deductions.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to management based on analysis.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role, with at least 2 years in a junior position.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Experience with accounting software (Quickbooks, Xero, Sage and Netsuite)
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in both written and verbal communication in English and French.
