Proven senior-level product management: 5+ years shipping digital products in e-commerce or SaaS, with at least 2+ years in the Shopify ecosystem.
Shopify experience (MANDATORY): Direct PM/builder experience either at Shopify Inc. OR as a PM/founder/IC of a Shopify App. Running a Shopify store, doing agency work for stores, or any merchant-side experience alone does NOT qualify. Candidates currently employed at Shopify are not eligible.
Technical acumen: You can partner with engineering effectively, understand technical constraints, and use lightweight tools to test and validate product ideas quickly.
Hands-on AI builder: You actively use AI tools every day. You write your own PRDs, build your own clickable prototypes, ship internal tools & skills, and run discovery yourself.
Analytical & user-focused: Strong ability to work with data and customer insights to guide prioritization and decision-making.
Strategic & executional balance: You can zoom out to set vision and zoom in to solve detailed problems.
Excellent communicator: Able to clearly express product ideas across teams, with structured writing and storytelling.
Team leadership: Experience managing and mentoring Product Managers, fostering collaboration, and scaling product teams in a startup environment.
