You will oversee PLC commissioning, documentation and the acceptance process in accordance with internal guidelines
You will carry out on-site internal tests relating to control systems (e.g. I/O tests, Profinet configuration, functional checks)
You will document all control-related tasks and ensure the functionality of the services in accordance with the agreed specifications
You will obtain customer approvals for functional and test specifications and be responsible for the overall acceptance reports
You will support the project and system integration managers with integration tasks for the entire material flow system and provide technical support
You are responsible for ensuring that all required functions are tested and accepted by the customer
Requirements
You have a degree in electrical engineering, control engineering, software engineering or a related field
You have excellent knowledge of Siemens software (TIA), including safety programming, and expertise in the field of drives (frequency and servo drives)
You have experience in network configuration, including Profinet and AS-i and are familiar with PLC programming languages such as Ladder and STL
Knowledge of barcode readers, light curtains and networks is an advantage
You work both independently and as part of a team, and have strong verbal and written communication skills
You are willing to travel internationally for approximately 100–150 days per year
