IP Litigation Counsel

Role Overview

• Lead high-stakes patent litigation and other litigation matters with significant impact.
• Drive litigation strategy, outcomes, and budgets autonomously.
• Own significant patent litigation and complex commercial litigation matters.
• Retain and manage outside counsel, focusing on staffing, strategy, and fee arrangements.
• Manage budgets for litigation matters, including forecasting and reporting on spend and exposure.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 7 + years of litigation experience, reflecting progressive responsibility for complex, high stakes matters.
• Demonstrated trial experience, including trying cases to verdict.
• Proven experience leading complex patent litigation matters, including technically complex, expert-driven cases.
• Strong judgment and ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
