Assist in ongoing tax planning and coordination of client engagements.
Conduct detailed and technical review of complex federal, state, and multi-state tax returns with an emphasis on flow-through entities
Communicate efficiently and effectively with our team on client issues that arise and ensure deadlines are met
Research tax law updates
Research complex tax issues, provide recommendations to the team, and ensure compliance with regulations
Assist in team technical skill development
Continue to foster client relationships and serve as trusted advisor to client’s business office staff by delivering superior services and timely responses
Requirements
5+ years with a medium-sized public accounting firm preparing and reviewing flow-through income tax returns
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
Proficient in project management including scheduling, budgeting, client correspondence, and research
Strong attention to detail
Integrity within a professional environment
Experience with CCH Axcess tax, CCH Pfx Engagement
EA or CPA certification
