Role Overview
- lead, coach, and manage a team of Software Quality Engineers
- own hiring, performance development, and career progression
- align Software Quality Engineering (SQE) priorities with program needs
- define and implement SQE processes, checklists, and metrics
- provide approval and oversight of technical approaches
- coordinate supplier SQE activities
- identify and drive continuous process improvements
- maintain productive relationships with customers, stakeholders, and program managers
Requirements
- at least one year of experience in a leadership role
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-US equivalent
- 5+ years of experience supporting software development programs
- hands-on experience with software verification, reviews, or testing
- 3+ year of experience leading technical teams
- proven ability working with program leadership to prioritize and resolve technical quality issues
- this position may require up to 20% travel
