Provide excellent care to clients at The Salvation Army Mountberry Adult Day Service.
Support participation in recreational and therapeutic activities.
Perform duties in a manner consistent with the Salvation Army’s core values.
Ensure client safety and demonstrate customer service excellence.
Assist with the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs and services provided to the clients.
Contribute to and follow a plan of care to meet clients’ assessed needs.
Maintain accurate and complete records of supports delivered.
Observe, report, and record client conditions and follow care plans.
Assist in maintaining an environment appropriate to meet clients’ individualized needs.

Montessori for Dementia Care certificate would be an asset.
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office suite of products.
Be aged between 15 and 30 years old on the start date of the job.
Have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN);
Be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada, or a person who has been granted refugee status in Canada
Effective working relationships within a team environment and work collaboratively with all staff, volunteers, and students.
Demonstrate leadership skills and strong oral and written communication skills.
Attention to detail, problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and exercise good judgment.
Self-motivated and disciplined.
