Role Overview
- Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts, bank statements, and third‑party reports to ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Prepare and review complex journal entries and account reconciliations during month‑end close.
- Research period‑over‑period variances in revenue, expense, cost of sales, and cash activity, and provide clear explanations.
- Lead efforts to improve accounting processes, workflows, and internal controls in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Own and drive month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Lead special projects that advance operational efficiency, data integrity, and financial reporting accuracy.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with demonstrated ability to operate independently at a senior level
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software; experience with ERP systems preferred
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to present financial findings clearly to leadership
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small, collaborative team
