Senior Engineering Analyst

Role Overview

• Provide strategic technical support to regional teams, ensuring standardization, technical feasibility and cost optimization of projects, serving as the direct interface between field operations, design teams, suppliers and corporate departments.
• Evaluate engineering solutions (foundations, drainage, retaining structures, wastewater treatment plants (ETE), energy systems, etc.).
• Support technical and economic feasibility studies for projects.
• Identify technical risks (soil conditions, corrosion from salt air, interferences, infrastructure constraints).
• Propose optimized solutions focused on cost, schedule and performance.
• Ensure application of the company’s technical standards across regions — with particular activity in São Paulo and Campinas.
• Support the definition and review of technical specifications and technical documentation.
• Share best practices and validated solutions across regions.
• Prepare technical and financial comparisons between solutions.
• Support analyses of cost overruns and propose mitigation plans.
• Update and monitor costs based on indices (e.g., INCC).
• Act as a link between:
• Regional engineering teams;
• Design teams (architecture and complementary disciplines);
• Procurement/suppliers;
• Legal / permitting / utility companies;
• Lead technical alignments to support decision-making;
• Evaluate and propose new technologies and construction solutions (e.g., MBBR wastewater treatment plants, solar energy, precast elements).
• Develop technical studies and implementation case studies.
• Support pilots and field validations.
• Support technical inquiries from construction sites;
• Evaluate field solutions (design adjustments, execution alternatives);
• Ensure compliance with standards and legal requirements;
• Ensure compliance with:
• Technical standards (NBRs);
• Utility requirements (Embasa, Enel, etc.);
• Regulatory agencies and environmental licensing;
• Support technical approval processes with public authorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Advanced Excel skills for building models and preparing presentations.
• Hands-on experience on construction sites and field technical analysis.
• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD for reading drawings.
• Strong communication skills with executive leadership.
• Knowledge of Power BI and AI is a plus.
