About this role
Role Overview
Manage highly complex, large accounts with long-term strategic engagement
Build and sustain strong, long-term customer relationships
Collaborate with customers to understand business goals and create demand aligned with customer roadmaps
Act as the Account Orchestrator, aligning and integrating solutions to drive sustainable cross-portfolio growth
Engage specialist teams to enhance sales
Build and manage the sales funnel through effective prospecting and drive opportunities to closure
Analyze data and create forecasts for sales commitments
Keep informed on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree plus 12 years related experience, or Master’s degree plus 8 years, or PhD plus 5 years related experience
Proven ability to manage highly complex, large accounts with long-term strategic engagement
Strong relationship-building skills to sustain long-term customer partnerships
Experience collaborating with customers to understand business goals and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities
Comprehensive knowledge of Cisco’s full product portfolio
Skilled in engaging specialist teams to enhance the sales process, especially where deep technical expertise is required
Proficiency in building and managing the sales funnel through effective prospecting and driving opportunities to closure
Analytical skills to create forecasts for weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales commitments
Awareness of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes
Generalist with deep vertical and client knowledge, and relationship specialist abilities
Experience driving strategic, multi-year architectural deals with top-tier accounts.
