- Provide legal advice related to business unit objectives
- Draft and review policy documents to anticipate litigation exposure
- Coordinate support for assigned business units from the legal department
- Understand and issue spot implications of business choices across legal subject areas
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of experience as a legal advisor or coverage counselor in property/casualty insurance
- Law degree and active law license in the United States
- Strong research and writing skills
- Ability to understand business plans and processes quickly
- Experience solving business problems and advancing business metrics
- Refined judgement about legal and legal-adjacent risks
