Design, implement, deliver and operate complex system and infrastructure environments
Work hands-on in our datacenter, from cabling servers to installing network components
Take responsibility for network and server systems, including virtualization (e.g., VMware / vSphere / Kubernetes) as well as SAN/NAS components
Actively contribute your expertise to architecture and technology decisions
Maintain the network infrastructure in the itesys datacenters (Fortinet / Arista)
Help keep our environment stable and secure

Completed vocational training or a degree in IT
Several years of experience as a Datacenter Engineer, Network Engineer or in a comparable role – ideally 7+ years of hands-on operation of datacenter infrastructures, preferably with Fortinet and Arista
Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware, KVM, Kubernetes
Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP) and concepts such as landing zones and bastion hosts
Routine use of deployment and automation tools
Strong team skills and communication abilities, as well as an independent and structured working style
Very good German and English skills, and a valid driver's license (Class B)
Ideally you hold relevant certifications and list them on your CV.
