Review and abide by all Company policies in the latest revision of the Employee Handbook
Support CM (Contract Manufacturer) to operate SMT/DIP equipment, troubleshoot PCBA production issues and implement corrective actions promptly
Minimize downtime, optimize production parameters, and ensure continuous production improvement
Support necessary documentation of processes, procedures, and work instructions to help CM comply with quality standards and regulatory requirements
Collaborate and cross-function with related PCBA manufacturing, engineering, procurement, and quality assurance teams
Apply lean production (e.g., M360, Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping) to help CM streamline workflows, reduce waste, and shorten production cycle times
Analyze and optimize workstation layouts and designs to enhance production efficiency
Support CM in estimating PCBA production times and developing schedules to meet customer demand and delivery timelines
Execute the First Article Inspections (FAI), In-Process Quality Control (IPQC), and Final Quality Control (FQC) audits at CM, and provide improvement recommendations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline preferred
Around 5+ years of relevant experience in the PCBA or electronics manufacturing environment will be considered an advantage
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders, including customers
Working knowledge or exposure to electronic components used in PCBA, raw PCB materials, mechanical parts, and SMT, DIP, or functional test (FT) assembly processes preferable
Hands-on exposure to motherboard or computer/server device assembly, including electrical components, testing, and inspection activities considered an added value
Strong analytical and practical problem-solving skills, familiarity or exposure to structured problem-solving tools such as 8D or Six Sigma being an advantage; related certifications (e.g., PMP) beneficial but not mandatory
Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia
Familiarity with hands-on experience in managing Contract Manufacturers (CM), considered an advantage
Experience with Fortune 500 EMS/ODM/OEM electronics manufacturing companies highly preferred but not necessary.
