Mid-level Lawyer – Environmental & Urban Law

Role Overview

• Practice in urban and environmental administrative proceedings – permits and authorizations at federal, state and municipal levels.
• Administrative litigation in urban and environmental matters: drafting procedural documents, case management, and hearings.
• Urban and environmental consultancy: responding to inquiries, conducting due diligence, and preparing strategic legal opinions with urban and environmental analyses, assisting with the application of municipal, state and federal legislation in the establishment and regularization of developments.
• Experience in mining law is desirable.

Requirements

• Law degree and active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
• Proficient with the Windows environment and main Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and PDF software.
• Experience in urban and environmental law, preferably with activities related to the land-use regularization of real estate developments.
• Experience in mining law is desirable.
